Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Ani-Gui, an online anime community with user accounts, profiles, episode discussions and community participation features. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You may use Ani-Gui only if you are legally permitted to do so and can agree to these terms. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in credentials and sessions secure, and activity carried out through your account.

Google Sign-In may be offered as an authentication method. Your use of Google's sign-in service is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.

2. Community participation

Ani-Gui allows users to participate in community features, including profiles and episode discussions. You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring that your contributions comply with these terms and applicable law.

Do not post content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, invasive of another person's privacy, or that infringes intellectual property or other legal rights. Do not impersonate others, exploit the service to spam users, or attempt to compromise another person's account.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use Ani-Gui to violate applicable law or another person's rights.
• Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data or administrative features.
• Interfere with the operation, security or availability of the service.
• Use automated means to abuse the service, evade restrictions or collect information without authorisation.
• Upload or submit malicious code, fraudulent material or content intended to harm others.
• Use Google Sign-In or other integrations in a way that violates the relevant provider's terms or policies.

4. Content and intellectual property

You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Ani-Gui a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the community features you use.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed to submit your content. You must not use Ani-Gui to infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, contact watergamez101@gmail.com with sufficient information for the issue to be reviewed.

Ani-Gui's name, branding, design and service components may be protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of those materials.

5. Moderation and account restrictions

Ani-Gui may review reported content and take proportionate action where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, investigate abuse, comply with law or maintain service security. Actions may include removing content, restricting features or suspending or terminating an account.

Where appropriate and practicable, users may be given an explanation or an opportunity to contact support about a moderation decision. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information may be handled when you use Ani-Gui, including account information, Google Sign-In information and community contributions. Please read it before using the service.

7. Availability and changes

Ani-Gui may change, suspend or discontinue features as the service develops. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device. We will handle any changes in accordance with applicable law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ani-Gui is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that cannot reasonably be made for an online service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law. Subject to that limitation, Ani-Gui is not responsible for losses caused by events outside its reasonable control or for user-submitted content posted by other users, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to Ani-Gui, its features or applicable requirements. The current version and its update date will be published on this page. If a change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will follow those requirements.
